This Week in the Park February 21 - 25, 2011
- Installed 'Test Piles' for foundation work
- Continued final stages of lagging board installation to 30 feet deep (final depth)
- Began final grading for the base of the hole on the west side near Music Hall
- Continued mass excavation throughtout the site
- Began preparing retaining walls for waterproofing installation
- Continued testing tie-backs along retaining wall

Next Week in the Park
February 28 - March 4, 2011
- Continue 2nd lift of mass excavation to 30 feel deep (final depth)
- Continue lagging board installation to final depth elevation
- Continue preparing retaining wall for waterproofing installation
- Deliver two more drywells to the site in preparation of drywell installation
- Deliver drywell drilling equipment and crane to south end of site - begin drywell installation weather permitting
- Monitor and test the 'Test Pile'
- Monitor and test installed drywells
The final fence move surrounding the construction site will be Monday, March 7th. The fence will be moved to the south end of the site closing the sidewalk on 12th Street between Race and Elm streets. |
